I want to take this opportunity to announce Chicago’s First Gay Flag Football Tournament. We will be hosting the Chicago Pride Bowl on June 27th and 28th. Everyone is welcome to celebrate our city’s Pride and Diversity through the competition of Flag Football. Here are the details:

1) We will be hosting an open invitational for American Grid-Iron Flag Football.

2) We will be playing Men’s rules. Women are welcome to play but we will only have a Men’s division.

3) There will be no Sexual Orientation minimum/maximum requirement on a team.

4) Teams from anywhere are welcome and there are no restrictions on the residence of the members on your Roster. If you want to build a team or 25 guys from 25 cities, you are free to do so.

5) Minimum Age is 18

6) We currently have a cap of 16 teams but we may go up to 20 if field and Referee count permits.

7) Team Fees:
  a. Early Registration (Ends April 21st) $350
  b. Standard Registration (Ends when we reach our Cap or June 6th) $400
  c. Late Registration June 7th to June 26th $450

8) Team Rosters are being capped at 25 Players. The first 15 Players fees are covered by the Team fee: each player over 15 will be an additional $20 each.

9) Each Team is required to wear a Jersey of different color than the opposing team. Jersey’s must be numbered on the back with LARGE BLOCK Numbers. Numbers must be 1 – 99

10) If both Teams have the same color Jersey, the team in the visitor slot will be required to change Jerseys or wear a penny. ( Team must provide their own alternative )

11) Teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 games

12) Play starts on June 27th and ends on June 28th

13) Pride Feast is on June 27th and June 28th

14) Gay Pride Parade is on June 29th

15) The World Famous “Taste of Chicago” will be going on in Down Town Chicago all weekend

17) We are working on Three Fun Filled Parties for the players and Guests, and we are finishing up with a big Parade.
